대전시가 추진하는 '융복합 특수영상 콘텐츠 클러스터 조성사업'이 19일 기획재정부 예비타당성조사 대상으로 선정됐다. 대전시는 2021년부터 2024년까지 대전엑스포 과학공원 내 3만6천620㎡ 부지에 지하 4층, 지상 10층 건물을 지어 특수영상 산업 요람으로 발전시킬 계획이다. 대전시는 국비 750억원 등 1천500억원을 투입해 특수영상효과(SFX), 특수시각효과(VFX) 등 첨단기술 기업군을 육성할 계획이다.
